PROJECT OVERVIEW
A Part L-compliant workplace lighting scheme for a 4,200 m² riverside office in Canary Wharf, combining recessed linear runs with low-glare downlighting to CIBSE LG7 targets.
LIGHTING SCOPE
Thames Quay required a full relight of open-plan floors, meeting suites and client-facing breakout spaces to the CIBSE LG7 office guide, within the Part L (2021 uplift) energy envelope. LUMI SYS trimless linear profiles were run in continuous 12-metre ceiling recesses for ambient illumination, with LUMI INDOOR low-glare (UGR<19) downlights over workstations. DALI-2 addressable drivers tie every circuit into the building's daylight-linked control system, delivering measured energy performance well inside the Part L allowance while holding 500 lux maintained at desk level.
