Continuous light, coordinated with the architecture

Lumi Pro focuses on linear lighting and architectural integration. Continuous lines, profile-based details and professional interior luminaires can follow the ceiling grid, define a corridor or create a consistent rhythm across a workplace. The form of the run matters as much as the individual light fitting, particularly at junctions, changes in direction and transitions between spaces.

Specification considerations

Set out the run length, mounting method, feed positions and accessible driver locations before choosing individual sections. Compare the available profile dimensions, optics and accessories on the model pages. Confirm compatible connectors, corner details and control options for the complete assembly rather than assuming that similar-looking profiles are interchangeable.

What's in the range

How specifiers choose within this range

01

Set out the run first

Work from the architectural grid: total length, corners, feed points and the joint tolerance you can accept in a continuous line.

02

Choose the diffuser by glare target

Opal for uniform lines, micro-prismatic or louvre for UGR ≤ 19 over desks, wall-wash optics where the run lights a surface.

03

Confirm the mounting method

Recessed, surface or suspended each need a different profile and accessory set; plaster-in needs the ceiling thickness stated early.

04

Match the handrail interface

Handrail lighting must state the rail diameter or profile, the LED groove dimension and the step illuminance target for the stair.

05

Zone the control

DALI-2 addressing per section with daylight and presence input is standard for office runs — decide the zone size before the driver count is fixed.

How to specify — in five steps

  1. Draw the run: length, corners, feed positions and joints.step 1
  2. Pick the profile and diffuser from the glare and effect target.step 2
  3. Select the mounting accessories — recess kit, suspension or handrail interface.step 3
  4. Set the control zones and driver locations with the contractor.step 4
  5. Request the spec pack for the profile family and its accessories.step 5

Specifier questions

How long can a continuous run be?+

Runs are built from standard profile lengths with joint kits; the family page lists available lengths, and our technical team will set out the run and feed positions for your drawing.

Which diffuser meets UGR ≤ 19?+

Micro-prismatic and louvre options are the ones to specify over screens; ask for the UGR table for your ceiling height and room reflectances.

Can handrail lighting be retrofitted?+

Only where the rail has, or can be machined for, the LED groove — send the rail section and we will confirm the profile that fits.

Is the profile available in a custom length?+

Cut-to-length options exist on several profiles; state the exact run and we will quote the closest standard plus the made-to-length sections.
