Magnetic system planning
A magnetic system is ordered as an assembly. This guide sets out the sequence — profile and mounting first, then modules, then the driver and accessories — and the checks that stop a run arriving incomplete.

What specifiers ask
Which track, feeds, connectors and driver are compatible?
Compatibility is by system family, not by voltage or appearance. Choose the profile first, then take the feeds, couplers, corners, end caps and driver from the same system. Two 48V systems from different families will not reliably interconnect.
How is a full run scheduled?
List every metre of profile, each module by code and position, the connectors at each junction and the driver with its location. A run scheduled only as a length and a module count will be short of parts on site.
How is the driver sized?
Total the connected module wattage and keep headroom for later additions. In-track drivers also consume track length, so allow for them in the layout.
Recessed, surface or suspended?
Recessed profiles need a plaster-in decision before the ceiling is boarded; surface and suspended profiles can follow later but still need fixing centres agreed.
