Lumi Sys groups track-based and modular lighting components for coordinated interior layouts. A system can combine different lighting roles along a planned route, from focused accents to a more continuous layer of illumination.
Lumi Sys groups track-based and modular lighting components for coordinated interior layouts. A system can combine different lighting roles along a planned route, from focused accents to a more continuous layer of illumination. This approach is useful when displays, furniture or the emphasis within a space may change over time. Choose the system family and mounting arrangement before selecting modules. Confirm the rail geometry, voltage, feeds, load limits and compatible accessories for that exact system. Similar-looking tracks and light modules are not necessarily interchangeable. Use the family and model pages to assemble a consistent specification, and coordinate the layout with the ceiling detail and electrical design.
How to select
- Pick the track family first Recessed, surface or suspended 48 V profiles differ in depth and trim; the ceiling detail and plenum decide it.
- Budget the load per metre Total module wattage per circuit sets the supply size and feed spacing — plan it before the module mix is final.
- Mix modules for the job Narrow spots for accent, linear for general light, pendants for tables: one rail, one look, different optics.
- Choose the control layer DALI-2, Casambi or phase dimming — the module and its driver must share the protocol you specify for the room.
- Keep a spares strategy Because modules are re-positionable, hold a small stock of the accent heads you use most; article codes stay stable across the range.
How to specify
- Choose the track profile and mounting from the ceiling detail.
- Set the run layout, feed positions and load per metre.
- Select the module mix — spot, flood, linear, pendant.
- Confirm the control protocol for every module on the circuit.
- Send the BOQ for track, modules and accessories together.
Frequently asked questions
Is magnetic track suitable for a gallery?
Yes — it is the usual answer when the layout changes with each hanging: the rail stays, only the heads move, and narrow-beam modules with CRI 90 handle the artwork.
How many modules can one supply carry?
It depends on the supply rating and the total module wattage; give us the run length and module mix and we will size the supplies and feed points.
Can I dim the whole rail together?
Yes, per circuit or per addressable module depending on the protocol — DALI-2 lets you group heads individually on the same rail.
Do modules from other ranges fit?
Only modules designed for the same 48 V rail geometry — always confirm the track family before mixing stock from a previous project.
